What upp Caribou Nation!?!!! We can't believe it's already spring time!! Now that camp is only 87 days away, its time to truly gear up for the summer. Things have been rockin' here in the Caribou headquarters. Bill just got back from a ridiculous week up at camp. Bill, Frank, and Frank were running wild and cranking things out, working on the three new tennis courts and the new wood shop.
The wood shop/arts&crafts is getting a total face lift. We're taking the boat house, building a whole new roof, adding a 26x20 addition, and building a porch over looking Pattees Pond. IT'S GOING TO BE SICK!!
This weekend, Bill and Martha are off to Florida for Jesse Clark's Bar Mitzvah. Good luck Jesse, rip it up!! This summer, the Clarks' will becoming an even bigger presence, as Justin and Joshua, Jesse's brothers, will be joining the Caribou family!! Also this weekend... Lori and Rotman will be heading up to Manchester, NH for the ACA New England Conference.
Alumni Update: Lee Coppersmith of Johns Hopkins University and Caribou Alum, made the cover of Lacrosse Magazines April issue. Coppersmith has been tearing it up for Johns Hopkins. Recently they took down No 1. Virginia in an overtime thriller. DO WORK Lee!
Caribou Spring Fling - On April 15th, if you're in the Greenwich, CT area, we will be getting together for a little spring get together. We'll be playing basketball, football, swimming, and having some pizza!! The entire Lerman family and Rotman will be there, let us know if you can make, and we will send you more information.
Staff Update: KUBA IS BACK!! I don't think we need to say anything else.
Keep in touch and see you guys soon!!

The Blog Revived
OHHH THE CARIBOU BLOG IS BACKKKK! We hope everyone is enjoying the end of the winter season. We can't believe it's March already; only 109 days until camp begins. WHOAA.
A lot has been going on in the Caribou headquarters since we last posted. Bill has been going back and forth up to camp. We have three new tennis courts going in right now and a brand new Arts & Crafts facility is being built as I post.
Lori and Rotman were just in New York / New Jersey visiting with new Caribou families and meeting up with some old friends. They had an amazing dinner with the Godnick's and Lublin's in the city. Andy Godnick is all jacked up for his CIT summer, Jake Lublin is really excited to jump back into hockey rink, and Dylan Lublin just wants to be at camp right now.
Rotman has been shredding the slopes at Sugarbush in Vermont this season. He actually met up with Dylan and Jake Lublin on the slopes over presidents weekend. They are both tremendous skiers, however, Dylan claims he's better than Jake. HAHAH.
Bill is currently out in California visiting with some new Caribou families and hanging out with Bobby!! Bobby is doing real well tutoring college students in Spanish, but is really looking forward to getting back up to the 'Bou.
OHHH and a mini Caribou reunion happened in Needham, MA. Aaron Strauss made the trip from Maryland to hang out with his bunk mates Spencer, Nate, and Jack. They had a great weekend and can't wait for summer 2012!!!
We love hearing from you guys... Keep in touch!! If you have any upcoming games in the Boston area, please let us know. The summer is right around the corner!!

Big Weekend!! Big News!!
Caribou Nation, WHAT UP, we hope this blog post finds you enjoying the winter season. Bill, Lori, and Rotman just came back from a tremendous weekend down in the Baltimore and DC area. On Saturday the 'Bou crew met with a couple of new campers in DC. AWESOME guys and we're real excited to welcome Ryan and David to the Caribou family. On Saturday night Bill, Lori, Rotman, and the Fernwood Cove staff hosted an open house for interested families at Charlie Shapiro's home in Baltimore. We met some great new families and had an awesome time. We want to give a big THANK YOU to the entire Shapiro family for being such great hosts!!
On Sunday, the Caribou crew set their sites for the DC Reunion held at Adam Abrams' house in Potomac, MD. The reunion was ridiculous. We played some basketball, handed out the "BOUM" reunion shirts, watched the DVD yearbook, and had some pizza. At the reunion, Zach Snyder, Jack Corrado, & Ryan Feldman (new to the caribou family) Jake Ford, Caleb Friedman, Adam Abrams, Joey Voyta, Jonny Voyta, Noah Griff, Brett Strauss, Aaron Strauss, Liam Woo, Jake Woo, Charlie Shapiro, Mark Strauss, Lynn Corrado, Daryl Corrado, Rebecca Snyder, Michael Snyder, Julie Friedman, Renee Voyta, Steve Voyta, John Woo, and Neal Shapiro. We had some special guests: Levin Ep, Talia Dweck, Z-Rob, and J-Rob, thanks guys for coming by. We want to give a special thank you to Dena, Murray, Adam, and Lindsay Abrams for putting on such a great party!!!!

On a special note: I popped the question to Lori at the Lincoln Memorial on Friday night and she said YES!!!. YAHHHHHHHH... LETS GOOOOOO. We are both really excited!!! We are definitely going to celebrate a little bit this summer with the whole Caribou family!!
We hope everyone is doing well. Keep in touch and........ 150 days until camp begins

Caribou heading into the Holiday Season
192 days, 4,608 hours, 276,480 minutes, and 16,588,800 seconds until camp beings. THAT'S NOTHING. Rotman here, back again after Lori's epic blog post. That was a nice change of pace, thanks Lori. We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this holiday season. I'm sure you guys are overloaded with final exams and papers, so I'm glad you're taking a break and catching up on some Caribou news. If you're bored, check this video out Levin-Ep just sent me, its pretty sick!!
The Countdown to Camp Calendars are out!!!
In Caribou news: I was recently at the Mountain Hoop Classic watching Joe Geller's Blair Academy basketball team vs. Andover. It was an absolute blowout, 79-38, Blair Academy took it to the house. The beast that is Joe Geller was ripping every rebound and creating absolute havoc under the hoop. Great playin' Joe. Tyler Swartz also competed in the tournament for Rivers, and from what I hear, Tyler played real well. A little side note: during Joe's game, in walked Ray Allen. No idea why he was there, but I'm assuming he must have heard Caribou Alumnus Joe Geller was playing ball and he had to check it out.
Up at camp: The weather has been pretty nice up until this week. The winter season definitely has begun at camp. The tennis courts are moving along nicely as the paving will begin in the spring!!! Frank says hi to all.
Have a great rest of the holiday season. Keep in touch.

A new voice on the Blog scene...and a new Planet with water?!
Hey Caribouinians, Caribouites, Caribou Nation--
How is everybody doing?! Hope all is well! This is Lori :) --- Rotman and I thought we'd mix it up a little bit and take turns Blogging. I'm very excited as this is my first ever Blog post and hopefully it'll be the first of many.. So, I thought I'd just give you a quick update as to what's going on in the office here..we've been really busy! Bill has been back and forth from New York City, Westchester, NY and New Jersey seeing lots of potential families. We'll have some awesome new Caribou kids to bring into "the circle" this summer.
Current campers, keep your eyes on the mail because you should be expecting a little something for the New Year from us pretty soon! It's been a beautiful day here in Wayland today, it feels like an early spring day..so mild and strange for December, but I'll take it! Rotman is sad because he loves the snow and is keeping his fingers crossed for some good skiing weather, but I'm the opposite and I'm hoping the snow just forgets about us this winter.. I'm really not looking forward to digging my car out! Despite the warm weather, Rotman is still skiing the East.. he was up at Killington Mountain this past weekend and although there was hardly any snow, he still had a great time in the beautiful scenery and is looking forward to more ski trips this winter. Last year, he ran into Caribou camper Ryan Silverstein on the slopes!
So, the last thing I want to mention today is about the article I just read about the Planet that could have water on it.. I find space and the universe so interesting.. I think about it a lot when I'm up at Camp, and the night sky is so bright and full of stars..it really makes you feel small in the world..but in a good way! Isn't this a beautiful picture of the Caribou night sky that Neil Coffey took?? He's so talented, check out his own website. Read the Planet article that this links to above, it's pretty cool stuff. So, thanks for reading..I'll be back soon! :)
